Never Have Unused Life

I just listened to a short audio and had to share it with you.  It’s entertaining, informative and makes some knock-you-over statements.

One of the ones I liked best was “Never have unused life.”  In essence the speaker said it’s wrong to have fabulous gifts inside yourself that you never share with the rest of the planet.  You were given them for a reason -> to use to make the world a better place.

Can you imagine what it would be like to have unused life? To have missed out on amazing opportunities to do great things, just because you were afraid, or were waiting for the approval of who-knows-who before you could do them?

That thought is so PAINFUL!

So seize this opportunity to explore a new facet of your giftedness, and enjoy the audio below. And please share your thoughts on it, too.

(By the way, when she refers to people as ‘scanners’ she’s meaning gifted adults as we say around here.)

Click to listen in.

P.S.  There’s an awesome definition of perfectionism in the audio, too.  Can you find it?

I’d first off like to say thank you so much for creating this website! I always knew my thought-process was different from others, but I just thought it was the “adhd” I was labeled with as a child. But after reading just a few of your posts, I feel much better about myself now. I truly felt as if I didn’t belong in this world since people don’t think at the level I do. I wanted to actually “dumb” myself down so I could “fit in” better with my peers. But now that I know I have this “gift” that many do not, I now look at it as a duty I need to fulfill to the rest of society. As well as help open the minds of others who may be “gifted” but just don’t know it yet. So again, I’d like to say thank you so much for your inspiration and motivation for others. Even if the entire world doesn’t “get” what you’re doing, I’m very appreciative of it. Please keep it up and I look forward to reading more of your articles!
