Scary Stuff!

Do we have more detailed information than we used to, or is our world directly in the process of a terrible downturn?  At the rate of change that’s going on today, will the world as we know it even be around in the next few years?

Egypt. Tunisia. Libya. Yemen. New Zealand. Japan. What’s next, and where?

We need to do all we can for our planet, for each other, for the positive existence of humanity.

And change begins by bringing out what’s inside each one of us.

Watch this.

You have a special set of skills, talents, abilities and passions unique only to you. We don’t have any more time to waste, so what can you do to make a difference today?

There are things in this video that I do not understand.

Yes, I agree, love is certainly much better than fear, but how can fear influence tsunamis or earthquakes? If we are fighting against something, is it natural disasters, pole shifts and mass extinctions?

Also, what sort of revolution are they talking about? What should we be protesting against? What has love to do with protest?

The message seems to be obscurely “Make peace to survive any change.” as I see it. But why love and fear? What does meditation and Buddhism have anything to do with it?

I’m sorry if that’s too many questions, but I can’t help but ask.

This whole video can be summed up in a few words: Where focus goes, energy flows. Basically it’s all about paying attention to what you focus on in your life. If you look for the negative, like fear, you’ll only find the negative; if you look for the positive, like love, that’s what you’ll find.

On a bigger scale, there’s a suggestion that we have more control over our environment than we may think we do. Have you ever had someone angry or depressed walk into a room and you feel physically influenced by their energy, even if they haven’t even looked at or spoken to you? It’s kind of like that. We have energy around us that other people (and things?) can feel. Multiply that kind of energy by the billions of people on the planet and who knows what can happen.
