Many of us are taught from a young age that it's better to give than to receive. But isn't that a strange thought? If we give, by nature of the act itself, someone else must receive, so does that make us better than they are, or them worse than us?

I wouldn't give my gift away. I, contrary to some, think it is wrong to give happiness, but receive grief in return.

I would share it.

With everyone, to make the world a better place. To put a smile on their lips and sunshine in their mind's eye.

I envision my "sharing" as contributing to the defeat of global warming, violence, government problems, and generally making the world a happier, open, and more pleasant place to live, even for the minority.
