"It's as plain as the nose on your face," they say.  Nothing could be more obvious.  But sometimes, even though we can see the truth of the matter as clearly as a black rabbit on a fresh bed of white snow, no one else seems to notice it.  So do…

Great post.
I tend to 'tell', except with my own family. I have to draw the line somewhere and protect myself!:)

So far, it's worked out for me. I find a lot of times that people are actually relieved to have someone to talk to about their stresses!

Most of the time, the reaction I get is "How did you know?"

I've been called 'blunt' many times, by others observing the situation, but it always seems to be appreciated in some way. Unless I'm completely unaware and they are actually annoyed 😉

Dude, that's My Dilema. Are you reading my mind?

Anyway, now I have a kid. And he's got that same great inattentive observation and unaware Infomational synthesis , or, whatever the heck is happening. The hubby asked him directly if he knew what was going to happen before it happens. It's like when you hear a song on the radio for the first time and you can sing along with it and get the words right. I used to do that a lot. In front of a BFF who knew about it too. She could do it too, a little bit. Haven't glutted out on music like that in so many years.
Haven't done that in a while. You have to listen to a lot of radio to do that.

Yeah, You're right. Sometimes they get mad when you mention stuff nobody's supposed to know about. Especially when nobody told you. But most people don't get mad. You have made a really cool blog.

There are a lot of different ideas about how intuition happens. Some say it's just learning to read the environment very well, others say it's a skill we all possess but just don't refine or use very often.

I think reading the environment is an accurate response so some extent, like you mentioned with listening to a lot of radio to sing the songs accurately from the first time, but I think there's something else, too. The environment doesn't explain how you know who's calling before the phone rings, especially when it's someone you haven't heard from in a very long time…

I have always thought of intuition as just something on a metaphysical level, on some other plane, but I really really like the idea that we are just so attuned to our environment that we see things that others don't.

BUT like the previous poster mentioned, it doesn't explain some things.  For those instances, though, I believe it's just our God-given gift being put to use.

Meilleures salutations
