Have you ever played movies in your head?

One of the things that makes me different than other people is that when I study, or I need to retain information, I have to play a movie in my head.  It just makes things seem so simple.  And it also allows me to pull up that information when I need it.  It makes it easy to remember.

In order for me to actually understand concepts I will always find a way to make some type of movie.  When I learn something new it adds a new scene or edits an old scene in my movie.  When I truly know I understand something the movie is very clear and it all flows properly.

Do any of you guys have the same thing happening?

Wow, that is really cool!  I haven't tried that but I think it would help me remember things so much easier.  I'm a very visual learner so when I take in any information, I usually create an image in my mind in order to process it.  I often think in 'frameworks' too, like flow charts or logical steps.

But I need to try this movie thing! cool

I do this sometimes, but I don't think I can do it as well as you do.  It's a really neat idea to make not only pictures in your head but moving pictures in your head.

It's kind of like being a movie producer!  Cool!

I'm going to try to explore this on purpose and see how it goes.  It sounds exciting. 🙂

I just thought of something…  Is there anything that is hard for you to make a movie about?  I'd think that some things might be easier than others to do this with.  So if you have anything that's difficult, what do you do?
